At Go Olympiad, we strive to provide a transparent and fair registration process for all participants. By registering for any Go Olympiad examination, participants agree to the terms outlined in this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. Registration Fees
All registration fees paid towards Go Olympiad examinations are subject to the terms and conditions mentioned herein. Registration is considered confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a confirmation notification.
2. No Refund Policy
All registration fees paid for Go Olympiad examinations are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a participant has successfully completed the registration process and payment has been received, no refund shall be issued under normal circumstances.
3. Participant-Initiated Cancellation
If a participant chooses to cancel their registration after successful payment, no refund shall be provided. This includes but is not limited to:
- Change of mind after registration
- Inability to participate in the examination
- Scheduling conflicts
- Incorrect selection of examination stage or mode
- Failure to appear for the examination
4. Incorrect Information Submitted
Participants are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted during registration is accurate and complete. Go Olympiad shall not be responsible for any loss resulting from incorrect information provided by the participant. No refund will be issued for registrations containing incorrect details.
5. Duplicate Payments
In the event of a genuine duplicate payment for the same registration, participants may contact the Go Olympiad support team with valid payment proof. After verification, the duplicate amount may be refunded within a reasonable processing period.
6. Examination Cancellation by Go Olympiad
In rare circumstances where Go Olympiad is unable to conduct an examination due to unforeseen events, administrative reasons, technical issues, government restrictions, natural disasters, or force majeure situations, Go Olympiad reserves the right to:
- Reschedule the examination to a future date; or
- Provide an alternative examination arrangement; or
- Offer a refund, if deemed appropriate by the management.
Any such decision shall be solely at the discretion of Go Olympiad.
7. Technical Issues During Online Examination
Go Olympiad shall not be liable for technical issues arising from the participant’s device, internet connection, software, hardware, or local network problems. Such situations shall not qualify for cancellation or refund.
8. Transfer of Registration
Registrations are personal and non-transferable. Participants may not transfer their registration, examination slot, rewards eligibility, or participation rights to any other individual.
9. Processing of Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved by Go Olympiad under exceptional circumstances, the amount shall be processed through the original mode of payment. Refund processing timelines may vary depending on the payment gateway and banking institution.
10. Changes to Examination Schedule
Go Olympiad reserves the right to modify examination dates, timings, venues, examination mode, or other administrative arrangements whenever necessary. Such changes shall not be considered grounds for cancellation or refund.
11. Force Majeure
Go Olympiad shall not be held responsible for cancellations, postponements, delays, or interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, strikes, power failures, internet disruptions, or other force majeure events.
